We're currently experiencing a serious crash on freeway (our "fast" server) that hosts various things for Raydium, such as download area, main R3S mirror, pictures for "media" page of the main website, ...

We're are currently rebuilding the whole server (yep ...) are there's a lot of data (~ 15 GB) to upload over there, it will take a few hours. Or even days.

We're absolutely sorry, we will make our best to ensure that a such thing will not happen again.

More infos to come.

If you've some abilities to enhance bandwidth with magical incantations, remote spells or the laying on of hands, it would be absolutely great ! :)

More seriously, most of the work is now done, we only have to wait for mirroring to finish. Currently, download page of Raydium is OK (was 1st priority for me) and the main R3S server (fastrepo) is 99% mirrored (the other server was acting as a backup during this time, no deny of service for these data).
The big one, the FTP where a big bunch of random things are hosted, is currently synchronizing, and it will last until tomorrow (3.5 GB done on 12 GB ...). The only tasks, then, will be quite simple (a few cleanups, a backup script, and missing banners for the FTP)

BTW, Thanks, guys, for proposing your time ! Hopefully, this server was only mirroring things, so the rebuild is not that complex (and we now have even improved this). Only a big stress when we receive the mail from our hosting operator announcing that our machine was forced to reboot in rescue mode ... My real nightmare is the main CQFD server ... If this one breaks down, you'll probably ear my shouts from your respective locations :)

Let me up this topic because we are experiencing a problem with Freeway, our server.

Services impacted are the same as those previously mentioned by Xfennec (see first topic).

Our host has been contacted and "should" solve the problem "soon".

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

RAM failure. Took a long time, but it's fixed, and service is restored.

... And on the other hand, the main server went down today ! I had to change the mainboard and CPU, but all is now OK since a few hours. Bad week for hardware ... :)

Sorry for all this !
