Hi, first I may ask what operating system you have? Windows? Linux?

Secondly, does the shortcut on desktop need to look "pretty"?

if your answers are Windows and no to the "pretty" icon, then do the following:

inside the maniadrive folder you see mania_drive.bat, yes? that is the file that starts the game.

If you want to make shortcut, you can right click, "create shortcut" and then move it to wherever you want on your computer (desktop)

This should work for you, yes?
