It seems you don't have the all data of the game (and the game is trying to download it by itself).

A few things:
- Did you download the game from our website (or is it a package from you distro) ?
- Are you sure that you've correctly unarchived the game ?
- How are you launching the game ?

Also:
- Don't launch untrusted binaries with root account ! We may be bad hackers ;)
- The log shows that you're trying to launch the track editor, not the game (use mania_drive.sh)
- You don't need to have PHP installed, binaries are statically linked

i downloaded the game from the download page on your site, but yup, wat u said is true. soon after i posted the message, the download started, but now have been stuck at one point for over 6 hrs. then tried to check the compressed 57.5 MB package and tried decompressing it again. turns out its giving a crc error, due to which only part of the whole package is being decompressed and the only binary file showing is mania2.static, which i was running and coming up with these results. i didn't see that error yesterday, oh no!! i'll have to download the whole package again :x it took me 2 1/2 hrs to download. anyways, thanks a ton for the checklist :) also the lowdown on u guys being possible hackers  God bless.
