I think, I've got the same problem. I'm running Mania Drive on Ubuntu Edgy Eft 6.10. There is the same Error with the sound card! Here is the log in the shell! Thanx 4 any ideas! |

Hi, The previous report was about a black screen when launching the game. Do you have the same trouble ? If yes, this was solved by tanguy using another 3D video card (GeForce 6200) instead of his GeForce MX 4. What is your video card ? Also, it seems that you're using some sort of Compiz, Beryl or whatever, try disabling this to get a real direct rendering interface. |

No problem 
Note that the problem was not sound related, this was only a trouble with Indirect Rendering (it works for some people, not for some others ...) |
