Hi, i am running maniadrive1.2 under mandriva linux 2008.I have this joystick

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gamin ... 0&cl=es,es[/url]

The joystick is perfectly detected under mandriva and the driver works perfectly in linux, and the force feedback works too.I usually play with http://vdrift.net and http://www.lfs.net . This last one needs a patch for wine emulator, but after this ,the force feedback works perfectly.

I saw in maniadrive boot log, that the game is looking for my force feedback in the /dev/input/event0 and i have this device in /dev/input/event2.How can i set maniadrive for looked for force feedback in this another device? I have not seen this posibility in configuration file of maniadrive.
It is possible?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi,

The game engine will accept "--evdev /dev/input/event2" as a command line switch (you can edit the launcher script), but sadly, ManiaDrive does not send FF data to the game engine, so you'll have nothing else than autocenter force ...

Force Feedback support is planned for next big release of ManiaDrive (2) : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=xX6WkvkYznE

Frankly, there's still a huge amount of work to do ... Let's use the standard "when it's done" answer :)
