I'm using Kubuntu, and I'm completely lost as on what to do with the tar.gz file that I downloaded.

I'm a complete Linux noob, and I'm going to need a walkthrough on this.

Hello,

I run windows so this may be off, but I think I have an idea of what you need to do.

A tar.gz file is a zip file.
Extract the tar.gz file you downloaded onto your desktop.
Open the folder on your desktop and there will be "mania2" (the editor) "mania_drive" (the game) and "mania_server" (the server).
Have fun and good luck! :D

Hello,

Uncompress the file.

Open a shell windows, change to uncompressed directory and then run ./configure.

You probably have to install some dependency report to the wiki.

Have a nice day.
Ouille
