Hello,

I have installed raydium for the first time on a linux system.

They are some point that probably need to be fixed IMHO.

Running ./configure rebuild ode each time (evant if php dependency fail and ode was already built).
This is ennoying :(

Ode version is automaticaly downloaded but it's version 0.7. Normaly everything is ok to switch to 0.9. Perhaps need to be update ?

Same thing about php, if some dependency or script fail after php build, need to wait for both ode and php to rebuild.

Last thing is it possible and easy to work in an subdirectory ? As raydium root directory contains somes files.

Last but ... script export fail ... need to be corrected, i'll work on it !

Have a nice day.
Ouille.

Hi ouille,

Are you sure to use an up-to-date version ? Looks like the old 0.680 release, no ?

About ODE, no "official" switch to 0.9 was done so far :) We talked a lot about this, but nothing was done so far. There's a thread somewhere here about that.

Hello,

I think we've used nightly build, i'll verify this point. Perhaps a newer version as stable release is a good idea (680 is old) ?

Ok for ode, official version is 0.7.

We have to consider going up to 0.9, seem's to have several improvement.

Upgrade to 0.10.xx need more tests to be done.

I'll check all of this. This was just information feedback.

About blender import/export script. Blender api for blender 2.5 will be changed. We probably need to rewrite scrips, i'll work on it.

Have a nice day
Ouille.
