i never see this before: with raydium, we make some car games, but NEVER with a car selection, but is not too difficult to make, isn't? a camera-move... a basic garage scene :)

Hello,

Car maniability is heavily related to physic, and physic tunning was tricky to equilibrate.

So changing car meshes is not a problem, but all cars will have the same physic.

Changing car weight, wheel size ... is more complicated and need lot's of testing before.

Have a nice day
Ouille.

... but you need physics for cars that you select in your menu, that's what ouille talks about.

Creating such a menu is very easy, I don't understand why you suddenly decide that's so important ? :)
In other words, It's not because something was not done yet that it's impossible to create ! :) In facts, thinking about it, currently, no Raydium car game had provided multiple cars (probably for reasons ouille perfectly explains), so no menu was ever required.

beacause i never undestand the fact we have many cars, but never anyone try to use multiple cars on a game,
we have the clio, the clio-sp, the madfennec, the monsterjeep, the mustang, the golf, but never try to use maniadrive with all of this car, with choice...

ah, and a little hs for say i'm working on a fullmaniadrive now, a maniadrive with all blocs, all tracks, and new graphic features (hdr, lens flare, shaders... :) )
and i have fun with demo volcano.c, i added the clio.. we have jasus car wich walk on water, a big reflexion which is recognized by ode (ode draw make it the car, but is not the car used in physics..) and others funny bugs :p

WOW! Great, I really love this idea. I like to play such version of MD. Please give me a hint when something is ready to make some tests.
