You'll find the project Roadmap here: http://wiki.raydium.org/wiki/RoadMap

Use this thread to comment this roadmap, if needed.

well, i put this post to be our roadmap, since we have no other possibility currently.
Also i think that this post should be fixed at the top of dev forum, cause is quite relevant to everyone that wants help.

As you can see, at the first of the post is the update date, that will be changed in each update.

Of course xfennec and myself will can change the post, so tell us your ideas about.
This initial propose is enterely mine (based in the xfennec TODO) so things, probably, change in a short future.

Well, there's a few translation problems, I must add my "special ManiaDrive" TODO, but the idea is here. I think that this roadmap should appear on wiki, since it's way simplier to apply changes, but add a "post-it" topic with the page URL here.

I'm moving the roadmap to the wiki right now.

hmm, about the version number, i think i have confused versions and mixed up raydium and maniadrive numbers :P
But i think that raydium and maniadrive should have differents roadmaps.

Yeah, I'd like to point out that Mania Drive and Raydium should have different roadmaps ;)

BTW, I'm working on a really independant Mania Drive (it should only know where the raydium includes and .so are) but I've got trouble with the include...I'll keep you posted !

Another offtopic question to ODE masters : How does ODE deals with hyperstatism in a group of joints? (when there is more mechanical constraints in the assembly than needed, I remember from my mechanics class that it make the mathematical resolution tougher). And is it possible to make deformable objects, for example a metal bar that will become shorter under constraint ?

The idea here is to make a kind of clone of Pontifex (now Bridge Construction Set), http://www.chroniclogic.com/index.htm?pontifex.htm using Raydium.

I'm not sure to understand what hyperstatism is, but one thing is sure : ODE simulates rigid body dynamics. If you want to create deformable objects, you must emulate soft bodies with (breakable) joints, but it will probably be ... hard :)
