I'm back (again).

This time i HAVE TO DO a game using raydium. It's for a good cause, it's part of a campaing against racism in Spain.

I have talked with the creators of a (gnu) 2D videogame called "Super Tirititran" featuring a new superhero called the same. They have allow us to use Super T. in our game.

The new game will have 2D playability (but 3D or 2,5D graphically) and will be available in GNU/Linux and Win32. OF course it will be GNU licenses and will be distributed for free. Also it could be part of the next release of the spanish linux distribution "Guadalinex".

Also i have a release date: 15 June.

So i'd like to ask for collaborators. Translators, 3D designers, 2D designers, 2D animators, musics.

I'm creating a Subversion repository.

Can Someone help? Questions?

Critics about this idea:

Since the game is basically a regular old 2D shoot-em-up i'll create one file per level.
Each level will have fixed width but a looong height. The height will be splitted into rows. Each row will be composed with "cells". Each cell will be an squared tri file, like in mania drive.

The rows will appear from the top of the screen and then they will dissapear from the bottom.

And, can i deallocate the memory of the unused tri files?

Have we a water shader simpler than the used in volcano demo?
I need water in the background of the game, so i need one and I have no idea about how to do one.

Ok, Xfennec has recommended me to use multitexturing of 2 water textures. No shaders, just textures.
But i can not find doc about multitexturing in Raydium. Where can i search?

Hello,

i think that tri importer can now handl multitexturing.

If it's done with blender.

But as i don't really know what is multi texturing i can't help you further :o(
