Have i dreamt it or raydium had a terrain generator? |

Nothing official I wrote 5 or 6 years ago now a small/ugly terrain generator, where the idea was to convert a heightmap bitmap to a tri file. The heightmap was generated with Terraform ( http://freshmeat.net/redir/terraform/10 ... eforge.net ) I can try to find this script again, but we can also think about a new and better way to handle heighfields in the engine (ODE had a primitive for this, for example) |

Well, then should be added to the wiki. And, Has someone idea about the new terrain system used in ET:Quake Wars? Maybe it could be interesting for be added in raydium. |

From what i know (and I've readed a lot of things about this game ) ET:QW use a very complex terrain renderer, using a brut force rendering for the mesh and the "MegaTexture" system for diffuse, bump, and specular maps. Writing such a module for Raydium will probably require some skills about this subject |
