I was thinking about how to load and delete (on the fly) pieces in the ground.
Those pieces should have custom-mesh collision (like the default ground).
Can it be done?

Currently, only like ManiaDrive : rebuilding "manually" the ground trimesh.

I think that one correct solution in the long term would be to implement ODE Trimesh as a new RayODE shape. From then, it would be possible to add things on the ground as static trimesh elements... But then, there's a big network performance drawback (until some "autodisable" support is added for OdeNET, at least).
