Hello,

It seems that only special keys can handle this (cursor up/down/left/right).

perhapse try to look in myglut loop.

What's your aim ?

I want a smooth object moving using alpabet keyboard such as "a" "w" "s" "d". I will set 1 on the keyboard buffer when pressed and set it to 0 when it released because when I used "glutKeyboardFunc" the movement is not smooth.

use up/down/left/right for instance they are normal working this way.

I need some time to verify if it's possible to change others keys behavior.
