You can try to apply last patches from vincente to your local copy of raydium.

Hello,

Your local copy of raydium is normaly svn ready.

Install svn client tortoise svn is great

Download the patch add apply it using tortoise svn to your local copy of raydium.

Then rebuild raydium library. The patch comes with small example of cal3d use with raydium.

If this is too complicated, or if you are not familliar with svn, patches and things like this you'll probably need to wait until vincente release his "final" code.

Hi, sorry, but how long can it took for the cal3d to be finished?
And what software I should use to generate a readable format for cal3d?

hello,

Even if it's not totally finished, the patch permit to use cal3d right now.

Do you experience problem with the patch ? Bugs ?

You don't need to wait until cal3d support is complete to begin to work with it.

Try to use blender to export your skeletal animation, or an other software but this is cal3d related and you must find some information on cal3d pages.

Where can I download only the dll? I got the dll but it need MSVCP60.dll and it was not good, because that dll is not distributed on winXP.

Hello,

The dll seem to be in the exporter binaries package, you can find it here.

For tests purpose i have compiled it from source with codeblocks / mingwin.

Here is my local part of cal3d.

You'll find a directory to build the library.

Hope this can help you. If it's not the case i'm affraid that you'll need to wait until vincente release.

Can you upload your cal3d patch created by vicente so I can just simply copy paste it and rebuild the raydium?

Please don't forget that Cal3d is not supported by raydium right now. It is work in progress.

I can't upload vincente patch, why don't you directly use vincente one ?
You can't copy/past a patch you need to apply it.
You'll need to build cal3d lib from the cal3d archive.



I give you everything needed to use it with win32 sdk.

But this need some skill to build the library, copy it to the lib directory and the dll to bin one.
Everything will be in the next windows sdk once cal3d support is official.
But for instance i can't broke my working copy of raydium with vincente patch now.

So if you want to use cal3d.
  1. Uncompress the archive and build .lib and .dll using codeblocks projects.
  2. Copy .lib in lib directory.
  3. Copy .dll in bin directory.
  4. Add archive include dir to raydium win32 sdk include dir.
  5. Apply vincente patch vincente patch to your local copy of raydium
  6. Add cal3d to the list of the linker libs in code blocks or batch program.
  7. Get data pack from the same vincente posts.
  8. Make tests and report bugs.

If this seems too complicated just wait for vincente official release.
