Why my model keep bouncing even when it has stoped?
Am I do something wrong on the Physic Engine?
How should I set the mass on the physic engine?

Hello,

Making physic engine stable is not always easy.

Raydium use some "standard" value that are quite stable for general purpose (maniadrive at least).

For the rest it depend on your model, his mass, physic time step, forces involved, joint, and erp/cfm and heven contact modelisation.

Lot's of things no ?

First try with some base app like test6 is it stable ? -> Yes this is not a ode/raydium problem.

Secondly tweak this example, add your body and make new tests. Try to change test6'box mass according to your body mass for example.

Last but not least, when you have a question try to be more explicit:

What body, what shape (box/sphere) ? Multi part linked by joints ?
What mass ? What are the dimensions ? Just resting on the ground ?
Last if it's directly related with physics it's more an ode question than raydium one.

Perhapse try to make a short program witch exhibit the problem and add it to your message.

For instance i can't help you further.

Have a nice day.
Ouille.
