hello has all
I would like to know if whom it that succeeded coded a camera which does not cross the wall

because I want make a play of car rc and to give the impression that the car be small it be necessary move back the camera then if one go into reverse marche arrière or if one go along one wall it can cross per moment

I have to test with a ray but how to position it on a fixed point or one
camera?
and it is possible to say to him not to detect a group object (the car)?

je voudrait savoir si qu'elle qu'un a réussi a codé une caméra qui ne traverse pas les mur

car je veut faire un jeux de voiture rc et pour donner l'impression que la voiture est petit il faut reculer la caméra alors si on fait marche arrière ou si on longe un mure elle peut traverser par moment

j'ai tester avec un ray mais comment le positionner sur un point fixe ou sur une caméra?
et il est possible de lui dire de ne pas détecter un group d'objet (la voiture)?

You can create an sphere for example, and apply forces on it every frame.
The sphere should have no mesh to render, just the sphere to cllide.
Then, each frame, you have to get the position of the sphere and use those values to place the camera.

Maybe you should tune the bounce and those values to prevent the shpere bounce about the scenary.

Problem: As the camera will be inside an invisible sphere, the mouse picking system won't work.

Hello

According to ode mailling list the best way is to ad an object like a sphere (:Dvincente) and a joint to lock the camera at the right place.

You need to attach camera to this object.

Normaly it cant block / hang. Its quite easy to debug (camera postion is easily visible in debug mode).

Small problem mass off this dummy object is small enough to live ode alone but not too small to avoid singularity with the solver.

I never coded such a thing.
