Let's wake up this forum to advertise a little modification made on ManiaDrive to randomize the track played in the menu, because I was getting bored of I got it bad. Don't get me wrong, I like the playlist, but if someone dislike the playlist, he can put his favourite songs in the music directory and the random chooser picks up one. Moreover, this is coherent with the behaviour during the game.

I wanted this track to be the "main track" of ManiaDrive. Let's ask others what they think about that.
About the idea to change playlist, you're right ! And that's why a separate directory was created, and why default playlist is not on repository. As you said, we could probably advertise much more this feature (it's only said in mania_playlist.php right now).

AUDIO tracks, I really liked them - For the length of the game they were enough - all great / my type of music
- maybe another one or two slower tracks to avoid constant foot-tapping adrenalin music to slow it down :
- similar to existing MeMak Racer 1 (1:28) by Neub (aka Revision 1.1)

I have to admit it helped to turn off de-de-de music for me to concentrate on 2nd last level (Super Clio Bros. 2)...
only because of my 100 attempts did the music become repetitive!

I would reduce the music a little as a default... and have a hotkey (perhaps overlayed) to pump it up and down according to mood
