There was an ad on the BlenderNation forum about something called "SynthEyes", doing camera tracking an such things. The website is quiet ... simple and boring, but the software seems very very impressive (used in a lot of films like Transformers, King Kong and such [bad movies, IMHO, but that's not the point

]). Given a movie, it can track objects in the movie (so you can do usual "Augmented Reality" things) but also the camera (so you can add post process FX like particle effects, depth fields effects, and so on), build paths, stabalizate video, ... Short story: it gives me a lot a ideas
